After weeks of hard, physical labor in the hot sun the stand was finally ready to be moved into "the hole". I can't even begin to tell you the process Christopher went through just to find the water line (had to dig up 1/2 of the parking lot), pass health inspections (gut out most of the existing cabinetry), and get wired for electricity (almost knocked power out for the ENTIRE strip mall). We had planned on lots of "speed bumps" in this new-business-adventure, yet now we are feeling like it is cruel and unusual punishment.
I continue to be amazed at my husband's stamina, perseverance, and git-r-dun attitude. He has been incredibly strong, and actually gained a lot of physical strength from the ditch digging. {Claire said he had "magazine muscles" now} I have wanted to just give up so many times and admit defeat, but not him. He gets up every single day at 5am and heads out for the next wave of drama or trauma there.
All I can do is think positive...that perseverance does pay off. That I know for sure.
Hey ya wanna see our logo? It's taken from one of the tshirts I'm making...

Yay!!! Go Christopher!!! Hey Jill! I love the LOGO!!! Very cool!
May I have a 4X tee shirt please??? I love the pic of Claire that you sent me...she is sooo beautiful!!! Who am i kidding...all your children are beautiful!!!! And whatever you do...don't do anything that is "annoying for Audrey's ears!" She certainly does have her own way of getting the point across doesn't she? All my love, Lisa
And if you say 'yes' to the $X tee could all of the Dayton Family sign it in permanent ink so it will be an original original?? Thanks sooo much! Lisa
That was suppose to be 4X!
I can totally relate to the construction end of it! I was examining the new roof and looking at the hookup...
Can't believe the building is finally there! Good news, and I love the logo as well. I love the pictures of the family and will have Lyla log on tonight to look at everyone! Look forward to talking with you soon. Noelle
