I didn't get a lot of pictures during this trip...but my mom-in-law did. But in printed pictures which I definitely didn't have the energy to scan and download! It's amazing that I finally got this montage put together!!
We had a wonderful time there, even though Christopher had to leave early to rescue the business. (It IS hard to find good help these days. I hope we raise our children to be ethical, reliable, and thorough employees.)
Things to list:
1. Nina makes an amazing Apricot Chicken dish with the strangest combination of ingredients...but boy is it good.
2. Christopher wishes that Eric was his brother he likes him that much.
3. When you're at the table with a lot of Jewish people, they order things for you that you don't really want but they insist you "just have to try it". And you MUST try it lest you be rude.
4. I don't like the feeling of hair stuck to the back of my neck.
5. I feel nervous and wierd when my husband isn't with me when travelling.
6. Julian and Claire liked to dive for things in the hotel pool. They would dive down and come up with band-aids, hairbands with hair knotted around them, and a wad of chewed up gum. YES THIS WAS THE OLDER KIDS.
7. Some people in Florida drive 50 mph in the fast lane, and others drive 85 in the slow lane.
8. Alligator tastes "just like chicken".
9. The proper pastrami sandwich has coleslaw and Russian Dressing on it, of course on rye.
10. We are NOT beach people. Sandy butts, creepy seaweed, broiling hot sand. We are hotel pool people.
