I have been hearing these rumors that, well have you ever heard of the kids show Barney? If so you'll know what I mean when I say that people have been spreading rumors that Barney said a swear word when he was "On the air." Do you think these rumors are true?

Not likely. Barney is taped, and censors would probably not let that one slip by. But it's a fun urban myth!
However, PBS did intentionally air a director's 2003 blues documentary which featured the f-word, and resulted in a $15000 fine from the FCC!
"This is the true story... of one anthropomorphic dinasaur... picked to entertain preschoolers... and have his life taped... to find out what happens when Barney stops being polite... and starts getting real!"
My suggestion with everything is always check the source...if you can figure out who the source is of "The Barney Show"...I think it would be a sad day indeed. What do you think....is the rumor true or false?
Aw, come'on now...that big purple guy wouldn't do that! This must be a very ugly rumor.
